Irvington Meet the Candidates Forum

Join us this Saturday as the Irvington Community Council hosts its first Meet the Candidates Forum of 2008, just in time for the Indiana primary election.

On Saturday, May 3rd starting at noon you’ll have an opportunity to listen to the candidates speak and meet with them to discuss any issues that are important to you.

If you attended our forum last November, you’ll notice that we’ve added a nostalgic twist to this year’s event: Weather permitting, the candidates will each speak from the front steps of the Bona Thompson Memorial Center overlooking the lawn.

In attendance will be candidates for U.S. Congress District 7, Indiana House District 89, Marion County Superior Court Judges, as well as several others. Will any of the presidential or gubernatorial candidates make an appearance? You’ll just have to show up to find out!

Join us at the Bona Thompson Memorial Center (5350 University Avenue, 353-BONA) this Saturday from Noon to 3:00pm for an afternoon of food, refreshment, and discussion.

And don’t forget to get out and VOTE next Tuesday, May 6th.
